Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rover. By accessing our website or booking travel services through us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please review this information carefully, as it outlines our role, responsibilities, and your rights as a client.

1. Our Role

Rover acts as an independent travel advisor, affiliated with Trevello Travel Group. We arrange travel services on your behalf with third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and transportation providers.

All travel bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of those individual suppliers.

2. Prices and Quotes

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are valid only for the time period specified and are subject to change based on availability, currency fluctuations, and supplier pricing.

  • Prices are not guaranteed until full payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed.

3. Payments and Deposits

  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the supplier’s policy.

  • Final payment is typically due 60–90 days prior to departure (or as specified by the supplier).

  • Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and other options approved by Rover Travel or the travel supplier.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits.

4. Cancellations and Changes

All cancellation or change requests must be submitted in writing.

  • Supplier penalties: Each travel supplier sets its own cancellation and change policies, which will apply to your booking.

  • Rover service fees: Additional administrative or cancellation fees may apply to cover time and processing.

  • Some bookings, such as flights or special promotions, may be non-refundable.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes or cancellations.

5. Travel Documents and Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers have valid passports, visas, and travel documentation required for your destination.

  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

  • It is your responsibility to verify entry requirements, vaccinations, and health protocols for all countries visited.

Rover is not liable for denied boarding or entry due to incomplete or invalid documentation.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance (including trip cancellation, interruption, medical, and baggage coverage) is highly recommended.
If you choose to decline insurance coverage, you acknowledge that Rover will not be responsible for any expenses, losses, or damages that could have been covered by insurance.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Rover  acts solely as an agent for the sale of travel services and does not own, operate, or control any of the suppliers providing travel products.
We are not responsible for:

  • Acts, errors, or omissions of suppliers or their employees

  • Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes

  • Loss, injury, accident, or damage during your trip

By booking through Rover, you agree that any claims or disputes related to supplier performance will be addressed directly with the supplier.

8. Travel Advisories and Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks. It is your responsibility to review any Government of Canada travel advisories for your destination before departure.
By proceeding with your trip, you voluntarily assume all associated risks related to travel, health, safety, or security conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rover’s liability is limited to the amount paid for its professional services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
